I have followers!

Oh my goodness, people are reading my blog.  How fantastic!  It's a little crazy and totally flattering to think people want to read what I have to say!  So I guess I better keep posting.  And a heart felt thank you to my "followers".

I have a couple updates for you, so keep an eye out.  First off, I'll go way back, before Christmas and talk about a special order I did.  I met my customer at the craft fair I did for the Oceano Elks.  She wanted baby blankets made from minky with her children's names embroidered on them.  Sure!  I had just been given an old Viking Designer I embroidery machine that took floppy disks and was sure I could do it.  She even wanted to provide the fabric so it was mainly my time.  My what time it toooook.  But in the end I was super happy with the results, and so was she.  Take a look.

The fleece top with crocheted edge was provided so I added the minky to the back with his name.

Landon gave me quite a bit of trouble but in the end I was victorious.

My absolute favorite, but that could be because my niece is named Peyton.

All done and ready to deliver.

I'm not sure that I'll ever do this again, minky is very hard to work with, but I loved having a happy customer.
